  • DEDICATION

The DS is a website dedicated to those of us who have suffered assault during our childhood.

Our Vision in sharing our own recovery process through writings with Beaky—Our Personal Quest for Freedom symbol—is to inspire your voice and in doing so, release you from the bonds of silence and isolation.

This site is not all about me—it is all about US, as a community of survivors, many split into separate selves from any one of the dissociative disorders, trying to break free from the atrocities of our past.

Activists worldwide are changing lifetime patterns of hurt and pain to help build a strong, vibrant voice saying NO to assault on all levels.
